As 2024 is about to end, netizens were asked to cast their vote and crown one of the songs released this year as the best song of the South. After collecting their final votes, netizens have crowned Guntur Karam’s song Kurchi Madathapetty as the best!

The single composed by Thaman features Mahesh Babu And Srileela set the stage on fire with her energetic dance. The song not only showcased its catchy lyrics but also became an instant hit, garnering 35% of the total votes and emerging as the winner.

The film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is the director’s third collaboration with the superstar in the lead role. Additionally, the film had a stellar cast, including Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Meenakshi Choudhary, Jayaram and many others in lead roles.
While some choices in the poll failed to garner any votes, the song Chuttamalle from Devara: Part 1 took second place. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, this romantic number featured jr ntr And Janhvi Kapoor mesmerized fans while sharing the screen.
As Kurchi Madathapetty and Chuttamalle claimed the first and second positions in the voting, the third most voted song of 2024 was Ajayante Random Motionam’s Kiliye, which featured the lead role. Tovino Thomas And Kriti Shetty.
Apart from this, songs like Illuminati (Aavesham), Asa Kooda (an indie track), Water Packet (Rayan), Matta (The Goat), and Peelings (Pushpa 2: The Rule) also received critical support from netizens.
