Abhishek Bachchan’s impressive filmography claims many hit films, some of which have finally made their way for OTT platforms. In a recent pole, Pinkvilla asked the fans to vote for his favorite films of Junior Bachchan, who still continue to entertain him today. Well, the classic hit of the winner Mani Ratnam is Guru.
In the survey conducted on 13 March 2025, fans were given five options and asked to vote for his favorite Abhishek Bachchan film on OTT. Options I want to talk, Ghoomar, Guru, Happy New Year, and Dhoom 3. Among them, about 65% of the people voted for the Guru, making it the winner of this interactive pole.
To refresh its memory, it is a cult classic hit released in 2007. Directed by Mani Ratnam and co-written, drama film Abhishek Abhishek along with Abhishek as well as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty, R. Madhavan, and Vidya Balan.
The second place is the 2023 Sports Drama Film, Gimmer. About 17% of the voters told the film as their favorite film to watch on OTT. R. Written and directed by Balki, the award -winning entertainer depicted Junior Bachchan as a dedicated coach, who trains a single batsman to bowl after losing his right hand in an accident. It also stars Shabana Azmi, Saimi Kher and Angad Bedi.
For the third place in this pole, I want to talk and there is a tie between wash 3. More than 8% of the people voted for both these films. I want to release last year and received positive reviews from critics. Shujit Sirkar Drama is based on the true story of the film Arjun Sen, who has survived a cancer. In the film, Abhishek plays the lead role of a single father who tries to navigate his relationship with his daughter.
Written by Ritesh Shah, it is produced by Rising Sun Films and Kino works and stars Ahilya Bamaro, Johnny Lever and more. For Dhoom 3, it is an evergreen history action thriller film including Aamir Khan, Uday Chopra, Jackie Shroff and Katrina Kaif.
