Poco Pad 5G specifications leaked on Geekbench ahead of India launch

Poco is all set to launch a new tablet in India. The company has revealed that the device will be launched in India on August 23. Now, ahead of the launch, the key specifications of the device have been spotted on popular benchmarking website Geekbench. Notably, the Poco Pad is already available in global markets. The specifications are expected to remain the same.
The Poco Pad 5G has been spotted with model number 24074PCD2I, which is the same model number listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This new listing reveals that the tablet will come with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and 8GB of RAM, just like the global version. In the benchmark test, the Poco Pad 5G scored 1,035 points for single-core performance and 2,978 points for multicore, which matches the results from our review of the tablet. The listing also indicates that the tablet will run on Android 14, possibly with Xiaomi’s HyperOS on top.
Poco Pad: Specifications
The Poco Pad is a sleek and lightweight tablet measuring 280.00mm in height, 181.85mm in width and 7.52mm in thickness, and weighs 571g. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 mobile platform, which has an octa-core CPU that can reach speeds of up to 2.4GHz, and a Qualcomm Adreno GPU. The tablet comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 1.5TB.
The Poco Pad has a 12.1-inch LCD display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, giving a sharp screen of 249 ppi. It supports a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. The display is bright, reaching 500 nits typically and 600 nits in high brightness mode, and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It also offers advanced features such as Dolby Vision, Adaptive Colors, Adaptive Reading Mode, and Low Blue Light Certificate.
For photography, the Poco Pad sports an 8MP rear camera that supports 1080P video recording at 30fps, and an 8MP front camera with similar video capabilities.
The tablet packs a massive 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via USB Type-C. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and multiple sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, and ambient light sensor. It runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS based on Android U and comes with essential accessories such as a USB Type-C cable, adapter, and SD card eject tool in the package.
