October is still a long way off, but Google’s Pixel 9 Pro XL has made its first appearance on Geekbench. The listing highlights the configuration of the Tensor G4 chipset – 1x 3.10GHz prime core, 3x 2.6GHz performance cores, and 4x 1.95GHz efficiency cores. It also comes with the Mali G715 GPU and 16GB of RAM.

Oppo announced the global versions of its Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. Both new phones are equipped with Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset, 6.7-inch curved AMOLED (FHD+ 120Hz) and 50MP main cameras. The Pro includes another 50MP 2x telephoto camera and a powerful 50MP selfie camera and both phones get a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging.

Speaking of Samsung rumors, all Galaxy S25 series phones are now expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset – a direct contradiction to earlier rumors that said the S25 models would feature Samsung’s in-house Exynos chips.
According to Samsung-related rumors, the S25 and S25+ are expected to feature the same camera hardware as their predecessors, while the S25 Ultra is tipped to feature an improved 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP 3x telephoto, and 50MP 5x telephoto shooters.

The watch has a squircle body but the display is round – and is that a Digital Crown? Speaking of the Galaxy Ring, its case looks similar to the Galaxy Buds charging case.
We also got some new official images for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra in dark gray and silver colors, showing a rectangular design with a round display and a digital crown element for control. The Galaxy Ring also appeared along with its charging case.
The Sony Xperia 1 VII is expected to come with larger 1/2.3-inch telephoto (70-200mm focal range) and ultrawide sensors with two-layer transistor pixel technology. Sony is reportedly trying to break the vertical camera alignment seen on previous Xperia 1 devices and separate the telephoto lens from the main and ultrawide cameras.
