Google has officially launched the Pixel 9 series, bringing a massive price cut in India over the previous models. Google has announced massive price cuts on its Pixel 8 series and Pixel 7a smartphones in India, with discounts of up to Rs 7,000. The Pixel 8 Pro, which comes in two storage variants, has seen its price dropped from Rs 1,06,999 to Rs 99,999 for the 128GB model, and from Rs 1,13,999 to Rs 1,06,999 for the 256GB model.
Similarly, the Pixel 8 is also available in two storage options, now priced at Rs 71,999 for the 128GB variant, down from Rs 75,999 earlier, and Rs 77,999 for the 256GB variant, down from its original price of Rs 82,999. The more affordable Pixel 8a has also been included in the price cut, with the 128GB model now priced at Rs 49,999, up from its previous price of Rs 52,999, and the 256GB model down from Rs 59,999 to Rs 56,999.
Finally, the Pixel 7a, which comes in only a 128GB variant, is now priced at Rs 41,999, down from Rs 43,999 earlier. These price cuts make the Pixel lineup more accessible to customers in India, offering a number of premium features at more competitive prices. Announcements made by Google at the Made by Google event
On August 14, Google held its first big event, called the Made by Google event. At this event, Google announced the new Pixel 9 series – which includes four models such as Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
