The clip shows two things: one, it may seem that Google is bumbling in darkness with its pixel devices, but it is not the most accurate. The company has a plan, and not only a plan, but also a long -term plan. And two, it takes time for Google to do some things, whenever it is faster. In some cases, the company may be quite agile and faster. But over the years we have seen that on its equipment, it can slow down slow.

This is an aspect of Google’s strategy around the pixel phone that I have often criticized. It begins to move at a speed that is glacial, while others – even onePlus and nothing like startups can proceed with strength and urgency.

Caught with competition

There is good news for all those who love Google products, and its approach to software and equipment is that as far as Pixel devices are concerned, Google has completed its slow march near perfection. I also said this last year when I highlighted how Pixel 9 devices were the best Android phones that you could buy in India. And this year, the Pixel 10 series looks even better.

Compared to iPhone and Galaxy S and others, Pixel phones had ever fallen down on almost every aspect except photography and clean software. Now, I believe they are better or similar in most aspects. For example Pixel 10 Pro. This is a phone that has great build quality, while with iPhone. It uses premium content. It has a performance that is one of the best in business. Due to its large sensor, its camera system is going to be even better. Even this time video recording has been improved, so much that Google is displaying it in partnership with Nick Jonas and brothers who have shot their latest music videos with Pixel. Internal, Google has extended a large time using UFS 4.0 storage and fast LPDDR5X RAM. Even chipset, tenser G5, a collision on G4. This may not yet be with A series chips in iPhone, but it seems more than modern and enough.

In the coming days I will take a detailed look on the Pixel 10 phone, but whatever I have seen so far are the fine phones that push the Pixel brand to the top of the Android space. And this is without considering Gemini AI inside these devices, which is a unique edge to Google.

Similarly, Pixel Watch 4 is a case. It is also, gradually but gradually, it has improved on a platform, where the best Android Smartwatch especially its design and hardware looks at the top notch, while its battery – both backup and charging both – is a step in the world of smartwatch. Similarly, its suit of sleep tracking features also looks best in business.

I think Google is turning into a corner with Pixel 10 phone and Pixel Watch 4. And yet, there is a qualifier that requires. And yet, there is enough to do for Google.

Still very slow

There have been improvements, almost perfection has been achieved. But the speed has slowed down. And while now there is a parity with the best, there are still areas where Google needs to be faster, it can definitely be faster.

Google is a company that has now been making chipset for more than a decade. These are server chips called Tensor Processing Unit, which has given Google a big benefit in cloud services. Now, the same TPU is giving advantage of the company in the AI ​​race as it competes with OpenAI, XE and others. But despite its great expertise in chip designing, Google is not able to capitalize on it for pixel devices yet. Tenser G5, although it seems good, is not yet. In Watch 4, meanwhile, the company is using a Snapdragon from Qualcomm.

More importantly, Google is still slow when it comes to getting its market strategy together for pixel devices, especially in India. Its brain-share is important among nard and tech-service users, but its equipment is not yet considered by regular buyers. There is no reason for the company’s slow message, or its lack.

It is also a problem of distribution. It is only in recent years that Google has started pursuing pixel devices in offline shops in India. Unlike Apple, which is now partner stores of brands like imagine with their own stores, brand pixels are very visible in shops in our markets. Online, it is only from this year that Google will start selling equipment directly in India. Otherwise, till now it was unhappy with just an online partner – Flipkart. Similarly, this has happened with the subsequent-book service, which has also started lifting only now.

I think Rome was not built in a day. And there is no doubt that Google is slowly improving every aspect of its equipment, whether it is the technology or their distribution.

But it is also not denied that the company continues to take some surprising decisions. For example, this time India has no 512GB or 1TB storage variants, even if they will be available globally. Similarly, Google is not yet ready to sell cellular versions of Watch 4 in India. The value of these devices is also on the orthodox and high side. There are bank offers and some special discounts, but overall the initial sticker price is also imposing many users to consider the pixel device.

Some of these issues should not be challenged for a large company as Google. Nevertheless, they are. For a company to be completed as Google, some of these issues should not be opened in years. And yet, it does. Solving these issues is the biggest challenge for Google. As far as pixel devices are concerned, they are ready to take the best of the best.
