Amy winner Matthew Rhys will act in the Gulf of Apple TV+ Drama Series Wido based on the Australian series of the same name. Katie Dipold, who produces executive and will be the chain, will also write a series.
According to the variety, RHYS will also have an executive manufacturer credits as well as their main role. The pilot will be produced by Hero Murai and directed by executive, known for childish gambino: it is America, guava island, and more.
The 10-episode series ordered in September 2024 tracks a cursed cursed mayor (played by RHYS) in New England city as it rejects the supernatural vision of its superstitious residents. Murai co-worker Claudia Shin, Karwar Karaszevsky and Joan Toll produce apple studio production.
FX has been in high demand for streaming Gigs, an Amy winner Rice for his role on The Americans. He recently wrapped the Netflix Limited Series The Beast in Me, starring Clair Danes. He will also star in the Silent River of Amazon Prime Video, a serial killer thriller in John Krisinsky.
RHYS shot the Britbox and BBC1 drama Zero, which is based on the novel by Agatha Christie, the same name, as well as a Hallow Road, a film with a film with Rosmond Pike.
Outside television, Rhys has been a productive film career, with posts, a beautiful day in the neighborhood, and the jungle book of Andy Circis on its resume. RHYS also played George Carlin at the biopic on Saturday night starring Jason Ritman.
