Businessman turned actor Legend Saravanan is all set to return to the big screen with his second film, titled Leader. During the teaser launch of the film, the actor recalled his early dreams of becoming an actor and how he would often talk to his mother about his aspirations.
Legend Saravanan reveals about his early acting dream
Speaking to the media, Legend Saravanan said, “I have been a fan of cinema since childhood. In the old days, there were pictures of Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan on two sides of my fridge.”
The actor-businessman further added, “I used to tell my mother that one day I would be like Shah Rukh and Salman Khan. But unfortunately, I had to take care of my father’s business. Be it cinema or the textile industry, I am always the first one to reach the set and the last one to leave the set. Whatever the work, I put my full potential into it.”
Talking about Saravanan’s next release, he will be seen in the film Leader. Directed by Kaki Sattai fame RS Durai Senthilkumar, the film focuses on the story of a father who does not hesitate to shed blood to save his child from the evil ones.
Produced by Saravanan, the film stars Shaam, Andrea, Santosh Pratap, Payal Rajput, Lal, Prabharan, Amrita Iyer, VTV Ganesh, Eyal, Aishwarya, Maryam George and many others in lead roles.
The film’s music and background score is composed by Ghibran Vaibodha, while Venkatesh S is handling the cinematography. Pradeep E. Raghav of Jana Nayakan fame serves as the editor.
Legend Saravanan’s previous film
Legend Saravanan first made his acting debut in Tamil cinema as an actor-producer with the film Legend. Directed by the JD-Jerry duo, the film tells the story of a scientist who returns to India after studying abroad and attempts to find a cure for diabetes after his childhood friend dies of the disease.
Along with Urvashi Rautela and Geetika Tiwari in the lead roles, the film also featured Prabhu, Vivek, Suman, Yogi Babu and Nassar in supporting roles. Upon release, the film received negative reviews from critics and ultimately failed at the box office.
