As the New Year celebrations began, celebrity couple Nayanthara-Vignesh Shivan and R Madhavan-Sarita Birje opted for a double date in Dubai. Nayanthara shared a photo of the four of them wrapped in a blanket on a yacht near the coast, with the iconic modern skyline of Dubai in the background.

The picture was originally posted by R Madhavan’s wife, Saritha on Instagram with the caption, “Making beautiful memories with beautiful people. Happy 2025.” It was re-shared by Nayanthara, who said, “The best time with the sweetest Maddy sir and Sarita ma’am. Such a surreal night.” On X he attributed the photo to Madhavan.

Nayanthara also shared a video from the evening and captioned it, “Only love all around us.”

Madhavan and Nayanthara recently worked together in the film Test, based on a Test cricket match.

On the professional front, Madhavan is set to appear opposite Kangana Ranaut in a pan-India psychological thriller Directed by Thalaivi fame Vijay.
