The new look of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film ‘VD12’ has been leaked on social media. The actor is seen in a very strong look for this film directed by Gautam Tinnauri. A few days ago, Vijay and director Gautam along with the team of ‘VD12’ left for Sri Lanka to shoot the film. Some important scenes were shot at Galle Fort in Sri Lanka and the shooting is expected to be completed soon.

According to the leaked photos, ‘VD12’ is a high-octane gangster drama. In the photos, he is seen sporting short hair and beard for his role in the film.

On July 12, production house Sithara Entertainment shared an update about the film. They requested fans not to share leaked photos and wait for the official announcement.

His post read, “We share your excitement and passion! Team #VD12 is working very hard to give you an unforgettable theatrical experience. So far, we have completed 60 per cent of the shoot and are currently filming in Sri Lanka.”

The note concluded, “For the last six months, we have been keeping the details under wraps, and reserving the first look for the official unveil. We kindly request you to refrain from sharing leaks and wait for the official announcement, which is coming very soon.”

‘VD12’ is jointly produced by Sithara Entertainment and Fortune Four Cinemas while Srikara Studios is presenting it. The makers are yet to announce the full cast. It is rumoured that Bhagyashree Borse will play Vijay’s pair in the film.

Composer Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music for the film. The film is expected to release in theatres in 2025.
