Telugu actor Varun Tej and the team of his upcoming film Matka visited Tirumala Tirupati temple on the morning of November 13. He took blessings of the deity and performed special puja before the release of his film. Pictures of Varun Tej and team’s trip to Tirupati are now going viral on social media.

Varun was seen in sharp white kurta and pajama for temple darshan. He was given a red shawl by the temple pundits.

Varun Tej has been busy promoting Matka for the last few days. The actor will also attend a promotional event at NVR Cinemas in Tirupati today, November 13.

Matka is a period crime drama written and directed by Karuna Kumar. The film stars Varun Tej, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Nora Fatehi in lead roles. This film marks Nora’s debut in Telugu cinema. The film is based on the life of Matka gambler Ratan Khetri.

The supporting cast includes Saloni Aswani, Satyam Rajesh, P Ravi Shankar, Kishore, Naveen Chandra and Ajay Ghosh in lead roles. Matka, jointly produced by Veera Entertainments and SRT Entertainments, will release in theaters on November 14.

The film will face competition from Suriya’s Kanguva, which is releasing in over 10,500 screens globally.
