Model-actress Kim Kardashian shared unseen pictures of her outfit and jewellery trials for the Ambani wedding. She came to India for the first time to be a part of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding celebrations. She was accompanied by her sister Khloe Kardashian.

Kim Kardashian wore a red Manish Malhotra sari at Anant and Radhika’s wedding. The other day she wore a dusty peach lehenga designed by Tarun Tahiliani. Kim shared several photos from her India trip that never came to Instagram. Sharing it, she wrote, “India lost the files.”

Recently, designer Tarun Tahiliani spoke to IndiaToday.in about dressing Kim for the Ambani wedding. “With Kim, you don’t get time. We were approached by her stylist Tanya, who is a wonderful person and she is very meticulous. We had to do the fitting the night before. And Kim has a very particular body. But I was lucky that I was in China and I found a mannequin that looked exactly like her body. I bought it and took it back with me on the plane. It felt like I was fitting Kim even though she wasn’t here,” he said.

He added, “I thought she looked great and I loved it. I told her, ‘You have given Indian women the freedom to love their curves’. It doesn’t matter if you have hips or not. Fashion has become very limiting for a lot of people. Why should we adopt Western people’s thinking about bodies? Our bodies are different, our shapes are different, our culture is different. It takes Kim to make people understand that curves can be beautiful.”

He also added, “It was all done in a very rushed manner, but they were very professional. I didn’t even go to Bombay. Mansha (Saahni, couture designer) led it. They fitted her in. They were wonderful. And it was enjoyable because they were cheerful, happy and excited. Fashion and anything, if it’s good energy, it’s fun. If there’s good energy you can handle the pressure.”
