Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu spent the first day of Navratri at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He shared some pictures from his temple visit, in which he can be seen praying to God. The temple visit comes a day after Telangana minister Konda Surekha made derogatory remarks about her divorce with ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. Samantha issued a statement asking him to refrain from commenting on her personal life and to ‘keep her name out’ of her political battles.

On October 3, which is the first day of Navratri 2024, the actor spent quality time at Isha Foundation. He shared the pictures and wrote, “I agree with you. Thank you Devi! Happy Navratri to all of you.”

The actor was seen wearing a red outfit inside the temple premises. It looks like she will spend a few days in Coimbatore.

Recently, Samantha was embroiled in controversy when Telangana Congress minister Konda Surekha said that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao alias KTR was responsible for the actor’s divorce with Naga Chaitanya.

The Super Deluxe actor issued a statement saying that divorce is his personal life and asked him to stop commenting on it. She also said that she remains apolitical and asked to keep her name away from political battles.

The entire family including Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna condemned Surekha’s speech. Nagarjuna sued him for his malicious comments about the Akkineni family. The entire Telugu film industry including Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun called him out for his comments on Telugu actors.
