During her latest appearance for the world premiere of Crime 101 at The United Theater on Broadway in Los Angeles, California on February 10, 2026, she sported a new large sparkler on her ring finger and talked about her future husband.

Opening up about why she chose to stay with Van Hunt and get married after six years of dating, Halle Berry took the romantic route by calling him the “right” man for her. Before dating Van Hunt, the actress was married to David Justice, Eric Benet, and Olivier Martínez. “You know, you’re going to be 54, you’ve done it a few times, three times to be exact,” Halle Berry told People. “You just know when it’s right, because you know when it’s wrong.”
The diamond ring on her finger is believed to be worth over US$200,000 and is said to have a unique, ‘extremely personal’ design. Earlier, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on February 5, the actress had tried to clear the air about her engagement, "There is some confusion that he asked me to marry him, and I refused.
"No, this is not the case. I didn’t say ‘no’, we don’t have a date. Of course, I said ‘Yes, I will marry her’," She added, finally confirming that she and her longtime boyfriend will say their ‘I do’ in the future.
Meanwhile, she appeared at the film’s premiere with costar Chris Hemsworth, his brother Liam Hemsworth, and their parents. Crime 101 will be released in global theaters on February 13, 2026, and stars Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbero, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte in the lead roles, along with the above two.
