‘GOAT’ director Venkat Prabhu shared a new update about his upcoming film with Thalapathy Vijay. He shared a photo of composer Yuvan Shankar Raja working his magic as he begins work on the film. ‘GOAT’ is all set for a grand release in theatres on September 5. The shooting of the film has been completed and the post-production work is currently going on in full swing.

On July 25, director Venkat Prabhu shared a picture of Yuvan Shankar Raja on his official Instagram account. He captioned the post, “The magician has started his work!! #TheGOAT (sic).” He tagged Yuvan and added the song ‘Whistle Podu’ in the background.

The makers of ‘GOAT’ kicked off the promotions by releasing two songs – ‘Whistle Podu’ and ‘Chinna Chinna Kangal’. While the first song received a mixed response, the second track was unanimously loved by everyone.

‘Goat’ has also been shot in Chennai, Thailand, Russia, the United States and Thiruvananthapuram. The film marks Vijay’s 68th film in his career. Reportedly, he will be seen in two roles in the film, with Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chowdhary and many others appearing in supporting roles.

Written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, ‘GOAT’ is produced by AGS Entertainment. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographer Siddharth Nuni and editor Venkat Rajen are part of the technical crew.
