Former ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ contestant Payal Malik has announced her decision to divorce YouTuber Armaan Malik, frustrated with the online hate and public scrutiny over her polygamous marriage.

In a recent vlog, Payal spoke on the controversy and said that she will discuss the matter with Armaan and his second wife Kritika Malik once they leave the show. She stressed that her priority is to ensure the well-being of their children.

Payal, who recently got eliminated from ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’, opened up about the trolling and hate she has faced. She said, “I am fed up with the drama and hate. As long as it was about me, I was fine, but now the hate is coming for my kids. It is so shocking and disgusting. I have decided to separate from Armaan for this very reason. He can stay with Kritika while I will take care of the kids.”

She further added, “This is bothering me a lot. Either the three of us separate, or two of us separate, or I leave. This is how it can be. They don’t know what is happening outside. I know what is happening. I have never faced so much hatred, so much trolling, so much abuse in my life. My decision is firm. We cannot put our children in this kind of situation.”

In an earlier interview with IndiaToday.in, Payal had spoken about her polygamy practice, “Our fans would know that we have never talked about supporting polygamy. Be it our vlogs or interviews, we have never promoted it. Whatever mistake Armaan made, I don’t think any man in India should do that.”

“We managed to maintain it, but I don’t think anyone else can do it. I think there is nothing more painful for a woman than her husband taking over another woman’s house. I don’t think anyone else can bear it.”

Armaan married Payal in 2011. Six years later, Armaan married Payal’s best friend Kritika Malik. They are parents to four children: Chirayu, Tuba, Ayan and Zaid.
