Amidst increasing controversy, Bhojpuri star’s wife and MP Pawan Singh, Jyoti Singh, has made public public with her complaints, alleging that her husband has ignored her repeated efforts to reach her.

Going on Instagram, Jyoti shared a long note addressed to Singh, which she married in 2018, she claimed that she has been trying to speak for several months “about” family and political affairs “for several months, but she has not received any response.

“Dear husband Mr. Pawan Singh ji, for several months now, I have been trying to talk to you about some family and political matters, but you or the people around you probably have not considered it appropriate to answer my calls and messages (SICs),” their post read.

She further alleged that she had gone away despite visiting her personally to visit Lucknow and try to reach her during Chhath Puja.

Expressing her pain, Jyoti wrote: “What great sin have I committed that I am being given such a great punishment? My parents are being honored with me, I have fulfilled my duty as a loyal wife, have to move step with you. Now it is the turn to fulfill your duty. When you embrace those people who speak against you and come back.”

Talk to PTI Regarding her decision to make the matter public, Jyoti said, “We were messaging and calling them for a long time, but they were not answering. We had no other way to talk to them, so we took it on social media. They should answer my messages and get my calls.”

The couple’s relationship has been under stress since April 2022, when Jyoti filed a maintenance case, demanding Rs 5 lakh per month. The case is pending, the next hearing is listed for September 8.

Meanwhile, Singh recently made headlines in a separate controversy after a video with Haryanvi actor Anjali Raghav. Singh later issued an apology, while Anjali called the incident uncomfortable, she said that she does not desire to pursue the matter.
