Pathiratri is set to premiere on OTT platform ZEE5 and will start streaming from February 20, 2026. Sharing the update on social media, the platform wrote, “Witness a night that stays with you. Pathiratri will premiere on 20th February in Malayalam on ZEE5.”

Official Trailer and Storyline of Pathiratri
Pathiratri is the story of two police officers who are on night patrol duty and share a mutual enmity. During one such patrol, officers witness an incident which they fail to report in time.
As the incident affects both of them, both the officers have to delve into the situation to uncover the truth behind the crime. As they set out on a mission to understand the mysterious developments, they begin to feel threatened by the potential impact on their personal relationships, careers, and even their lives.
As their animosity gradually subsides, Pathiratri also explores the personal demons that both officers harbor within themselves.

Pathiratri stars Navya Nair and Soubin Shahir in lead roles. She is joined by Sunny Wayne, Ann Augustine, Athamiya Rajan, Pooja Mohanraj, Achyuth Kumar, Binu Thomman, Harishree Ashokan, Shabarish Varma, Aadukalam Naren, Indrans and many other actors in lead roles.
Directed by Rathina PT, the film is her second directorial venture after Mammootty and Parvathy Thiruvothu starrer Puzhu. Written by Shaji Marad, the film is produced by Dr. KV Abdul Nazar and Ashiya Nazar under the banner of Benji Productions.
The film has music and background score composed by Jacques Bejoy, while Shahnad Jalal handled the cinematography. Additionally, Srijit Sarang serves as the editor. Upon its theatrical release, the film received mixed reviews from critics.
Soubin Shahir’s next film
Soubin Shahir will next be seen in the sequel film Bachelor Party D’Ex. Directed by Amal Neerad, the film stars Neslen and Srinath Bhasi in co-lead roles, while Tovino Thomas is rumored to play a cameo role.
