Parth Samthaan, best known for popular TV shows like ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, opened up about working with Sanjay Dutt in his debut Bollywood film ‘Ghudchadhi’. The actor recalled his early shooting days with Sanjay and how he used to get extremely inspired by his presence.

In an exclusive interview with India Today.in, Parth Samthaan shared his thoughts and experience of working with Sanjay Dutt. He said, “Initially I was very intimidated by his personality because obviously, we have grown up watching him in different kinds of roles and cinema, and of course, the role of Bhai is pretty much what he is known for. So yes, it was very intimidating.”

The actor further added, “But once you start talking, he is the complete opposite. He is very humble, down to earth and very soft-spoken. He is truly an inspiration. I remember our first scene. I was comfortable but before that, I was completely anxious. I was very stressed. I was told to be prepared before coming on the set. So, I made sure to be well prepared. Thankfully, I can say I did well.”

Parth said that Sanjay’s presence on the sets was both inspiring and educative for him. He said, “I learnt how to stay fit. When I reach his age someday, I would like to see myself like him. That’s for sure. He is an inspiration when it comes to fitness because he started the trend.”

He also shared, “Also, the kind of person he is, no matter what your personality is, you should never judge a book by its cover. He has a lot of layers to his life, and he has all the experiences in his life, good, bad, everything, but he still stands strong. That’s one thing that I think a lot of people take away from him.”

Apart from Sanjay Dutt and Parth Samthan, ‘Ghudchadhi’ also stars Raveena Tandon and Khushali Kumar. The film will release on August 9.
