Parmeet Sethi recalled the matrimonial conflict with Archana Purana Singh: it was very stressful
Actor Parmeet Sethi opened about his personal and marital conflicts. He credited the Art of Living Course to help his wife Archana Purana Singh find emotional peace during difficult times.

In a recent conversation on the YouTube channel of his son Ariyaman Sethi, actor Parmeet Sethi opened about various personal challenges, including his matrimonial conflicts with actor-wife Archana Purana Singh. Sethi clearly discussed intensive arguments that he faced, causing tension in his relationship. He gave some relief to an art of living course, helping him to process his feelings and find a sense of peace.
He said, “I did the Art of Living Course, Archana forced me to do so. We were passing by a bad time as a husband -wife, was very stressful, and we were very stressed. After the course, after the course, all the things bottled inside me came out, and for the first time, I cried out loud for my sister.
Recalling his childhood in Delhi, Parmeet described growing up in a refugee house, because his father went to Gujranwala, now in Pakistan, later in partitions. Despite the loving environment, financial hurdles were a continuous challenge, inspiring him to sell shirts from his uncle’s factory during his college years to support the family.
One of Sethi’s most rigorous experiences belonged to the 1984 anti -Sikh riots, where he lost his uncle and cousin tragically. The trauma motivated him to take a difficult decision to remove his turban and shave his hair, a task that his father fought to accept. This decision was a deep reflection of the identity crisis that he faced.
Sethi shared a particularly terrible incident, where his family survived a mob attack narrowly. His neighbor, an army officer, defended his house by a guard standing with guns, while Seth’s father assisted by supplying bullets to ensure his safety.
Addressing his marriage, Parmeet once and again accepted a deadly stage characteristic of quarrels and emotional exhaustion. He encourages him to find out the art of living practices to credited Arcana, which allowed him to face and release paint-up, to bring a sense of calm and treatment.
The couple got married on 30 June 1992. They have two sons, Aryamain and Ayushman.
