Park Sung-hoon faces criticism for sharing vulgar parody of Squid Game 2
Squid Game actor Park Sung-hoon faced trouble after accidentally uploading an adult Squid Game parody post to Instagram amid a national tragedy in South Korea. His agency confirmed the mistake, following which the actor had to apologise.

Squid Game 2 actor Park Sung-hoon has sparked controversy with his recent Instagram post. The actor uploaded an adult parody cover of the popular Netflix series, which he later removed. The post came soon after the tragic Jeju Air flight crash in South Korea, where 179 out of 181 passengers lost their lives. Many of the victims were K-pop fans returning from the 2024 Asia Artist Awards in Bangkok. The incident has caused national mourning in South Korea.
Despite the removal of the post, screenshots of Sung-hoon’s Instagram story went viral, leading to speculation of a possible hack. However, his agency confirmed that the post was accidentally uploaded by Park. A representative from BH Entertainment said this Sung-hoon received many direct messages And while checking them inadvertently shared the image. The actor expressed surprise at this and apologized for the mistake and vowed to be more cautious in the future.
A statement released by Sung-hoon’s agency, BH Entertainment, read, “Park Sung-hoon received several DMs on social media and accidentally uploaded it while checking the DMs. In such a situation, the actor himself is surprised and is apologizing for making such a mistake. He will take care that nothing like this happens again.”
Fans did not agree with this and lashed out at the actor. Many also called for her to be replaced in the upcoming drama, A Tyrant’s Chef, which she is reportedly a part of alongside The Girls’ Generation’s Yoona.
Park Sung-hoon played Choi Hyun-joo aka Player 120, a transgender character in Squid Game Season 2.She enters the game to collect money for her gender-affirmation surgery. Sung-hoon was also a part of dramas like Queen of Tears And glory.
