Paresh Rawal, who is known for his versatile performance in Bollywood, recently reflected his experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, the three biggest superstars in the Hindi film industry. In a conversation with Lallantop, Rawal offered rare insight into different views that brought each of the mines into their crafts.
When asked about his personal choice between the three, Paresh Rawal admitted that he liked Aamir Khan better when he came to work together. According to Rawal, Aamir Khan does not rely on gestures or methods to give his performance; Instead, he focuses on the purity of his craft. Rawal appreciated this subtle and honest approach, which highlights the commitment to portray the characters without publishing Aamir’s commitment.
Speaking about Salman Khan, Rawal described him as a “filled”, when it comes to the method, but clarified that it is exactly the quality that makes Salman a natural artist. He praised Salman’s spontaneous attraction and charisma, saying that it adds a different taste to his performance and is strongly echoed with the audience.
Turning to Shahrukh Khan, Rawal insisted on the superstar’s remarkable penance. Referring to the role of SRK in Swads, he said how the actor completely disappeared in his character, presenting a performance so authenticly that the audience could forget that he was looking at Shah Rukh Khan. Rawal praised this change and acknowledged SRK’s ability to incarnate his roles with honesty.
However, Paresh Rawal made it clear that acting should not be judged by the best or inferior hierarchies. In his words, “Yoga Kul, Acting Mein Koi Bada, Superior, Hein, Ghat, Great Nahi,” means that there are no complete ranks in the acting world. He emphasized that each actor brings something unique and valuable to the table, and each must be honored for his strength.
Paresh Rawal has some projects, including Welcome to the Jungle and Hera Ferri 3. He has worked in the Hindi film industry for more than four decades and has appeared in more than 200 films. From comic characters in Hera Pheri, known to play a wide range of roles and welcome serious roles in films such as Sardar and Oh My God, he has also received the National Film Award and Padma Shri.
