Durgesh also shared his frustration when he was ignored, despite being involved in the projects acclaimed by reviewers. “It’s strange. The films and shows on which I have worked, yet critics have rarely mentioned my name. I have been a part of this industry for 25 years, but I do not always get the credit I deserve. I am entitled. I said, I am thankful that viewers give importance to my work.”
Durgesh, an alumnus of the National School of Drama (NSD), achieved his success with Imtiaz Ali’s highway in 2014. Since then, he has painted in films like Sultan, Sanju, Dhadak and Bhakta. In the panchayat, he initially played a supporting character, but became an important part of the lead artists by season 3.
