Palash’s wedding with Smriti was scheduled to take place on November 25, 2025 in Sangli, but was suddenly canceled a day before the ceremony. While initial communications cited Smriti’s father’s ill health as the reason, later allegations claimed that the marriage was called off following allegations of infidelity. Now, in conversation with FilmygyanDaisy addressed her bond with Palash and his family. Tracing their relationship back several years, she revealed that she first met him through her sister, singer Palak Muchhal, who sang in her debut film Jai Ho.
Daisy said, “Palash is very nice as a person. In fact, I have met him many times. Palak did a song for Jai Ho, so I know him since then, so I often go to parties at Palak’s house for birthdays and Ganpati pujas and that’s how I met Palash. That’s how I came to know that he is a musician and director.”
She also spoke warmly about his family, saying, “I met his family, beautiful family, they are very down to earth. They believe in God a lot and I think that’s the good thing about them. People who believe in God are positive people.”
