Singer Palak Muchhal has revealed how her family is living after cricketer Smriti Mandhana and her brother Palash Muchhal’s wedding got stalled.

The wedding, originally scheduled for 23 November in Sangli, was unexpectedly postponed, generating widespread speculation and intense public interest. Palak has now addressed the situation for the first time, admitting the emotional stress being experienced by both the families.

Palak described this as a very challenging period. filmfare“I think the families have gone through a very difficult time, we would like to believe in positivity during this time and spread as much positivity as we can. And yes, stay strong.”

Smriti and Palash’s wedding was put on hold when the cricketer’s father Srinivas Mandhana fell ill on the wedding day and was taken to a hospital in Sangli after showing symptoms of a heart attack. A day later, Palash himself was admitted to hospital in Sangli before being transferred to Mumbai for further evaluation. Due to the sequence of events both families decide to call off the wedding.

Palak’s comment is the first official confirmation from the Muchhal family after the postponement. Meanwhile, Smriti and Palash are yet to speak publicly about the development, though both of them recently added an evil eye emoji to their social media bios.
