In less than a month of his death, The Late Rock Icon Ozi Osbourne’s upcoming documentary Ozi Oosbourne: Coming Home will not be released as originally employed. The schedule for the film kept it for release on Monday, August 18. However, it was suddenly declared by BBC News that it would not proceed as before, not provided without any reason. On Tuesday, an update of the publication revealed that it had decided to respect the ‘desire to wait for the family’s wishes’, and shared that the film ‘had shifted to the schedule’.
The story of The Prince of Darkness to stay in the dark for a long time
Ozy Osbourne: The house coming home was broadcast on BBC One on 21:00 BST on August 18, but was removed from the first schedule on the same day. While initially no reason was specified for the delay in the release of the film, a new update of the BBC has shown that the family’s sense of loss was very fresh to proceed with the original date. A spokesman for the publishing shared, “Our sympathy is with the Osborn family in this difficult time. We are waiting for the family’s wishes a little before broadcasting this particular film. The new (transmission) date will be confirmed soon.”
Earlier it was to be built as a 10-part series, called Home to Rost, which included the life of Black Sabbath singer Ozi Osbourne and his wife Sharon back to Buckinghamshire, as they try to fit back, the film eventually changed its course. With the growing health issues of the star, he decided to make it in an one -hour film instead, which would proceed to capture the last three years of his life.
Even after his death on July 22, 2025, there is not a month, and there is a wave of sorrow that it spread to rock and metal music fans around the world, the wounds are very fresh for their circles over their last few years. Ozy Osbourne: The Cumming Home has not been made a new schedule for the release so far.
