Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was so overwhelmed in his daughter Alia Kashyap’s wedding that he wanted to leave the venue before the reception party started. In an interview, the Gangs of Vasipur director recalled the non-stop for 10 days without any special reason, in front of strangers. Alia is Anurag’s daughter from her first wife, film editor Aarti Bajaj.

Aurag told how Alia’s birth and marriage developed similar feelings, Anurag told Hollywood Reporter India“When my daughter was born, I realized the same. I don’t know I cried a lot, but I cried.
