Persis Khambatta as Documentary Category Presenter

Actor and former Miss India Persis Khambatta debuted as a presenter at the 52nd Academy Awards (held on April 14, 1980, honoring the films of 1979). He co-presented the awards in the documentary categories, most notably Best Documentary Feature (won). best boydirected by Ira Wohl) and Best Documentary Short Subject (won by). Persis appeared alongside Canadian actor William Shatner (famous for star trekwhere Persis himself starred as Lieutenant Ilya Star Trek: The Motion Picture previous year). Both documentary Oscars were presented during a ceremony hosted by Johnny Carson.
Priyanka Chopra as Best Film Editing Presenter
Priyanka Chopra announces Best Film Editing winner at the 88th Academy Awards in 2016 (Mad Max: Fury Road) with Liev Schreiber. The actor has now been officially announced as the presenter for the 98th Oscars on March 15, 2026 (March 16 as per Indian time) at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
It marks her return after a decade, starring Chase Infiniti, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph, Adrien Brody, Kieran Culkin, Mikey Madison, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Javier Bardem, Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow and others.
Deepika Padukone as Best Original Song Presenter
At the 95th Academy Awards, Deepika presented the Best Original Song category in 2023, where the song Natu NatuFrom director SS Rajamouli RRR (2022) won. The song, composed by MM Keeravani with lyrics by Chandrabose, became the first Indian film to claim an Oscar in that category.
In the United States, the Oscars will air live on ABC and can also be streamed on Hulu. Viewers can access the broadcast through live TV platforms such as DirecTV, Fubo, Sling and Hulu + Live TV.
The show will start at 4 PM Pacific Time (PT) and 7 PM Eastern Time (ET).
For Indian viewers, the event will be available live on Star Movies, Star Movies Select and JioHotstar from 5.30am IST on March 16.
