Ori faced heavy criticism for using casteist slur in a video, later he removed it
Social media personality Ori faced serious backlash after using racist and transphobic slurs in a now-deleted Instagram video. Despite the clip’s removal, social media users criticized his insensitive remarks and his repeated pattern of controversial behavior online.

Orhan Avtramani, popularly known as Orri, who is often trending for his unique social media presence and glamorous friend circle, has once again landed in controversy. Internet personality faced massive backlash after using racist and transphobic slur in an Instagram video. The clip, which has now been removed, showed two transgender women, purportedly actors, fighting over a reality show.
Ori’s caption sparked outrage online. It read, “POV: You attended a comedy show and 2 guys started fighting behind you. But how can she slap (laughing emoji).” The word “chakka” is a derogatory term for transgender people.
Soon after the video went viral, social media users criticized Ori for being “insensitive” and “making fun of the transgender community”. One user wrote, “This is shameful, Orri! Using an everyday abuse to demean a community is disgusting.” Another commented, “When you profit from gay culture and then make fun of it – that’s hypocrisy at its finest.”
A third user pointed out the double standards, saying, “When you dress like a lady, it’s called fashion. But when others do, you get abuse. It’s not funny; it’s cruel.”
A longer comment struck a stern tone, saying, “This is a new low. I’m sure in 2 days no one will care about this and you’ll be back in your business, but I sincerely pray for your downfall. Your senseless rich content was fine as long as it wasn’t hurting anyone’s sentiments… What’s even more disgusting and insulting is that you are liking the comments, still continuing to post content after seeing all the outrage. Shows how little you care. It’s shameful and sad.”
This is not the first time that Orri has been at the center of controversy. In October, she faced criticism for calling singer Falguni Pathak “Phalguni peacock who sings on stage” and calling legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar “Lata Mangeshwari”.
She also took a dig at ‘Bigg Boss 15’ contestant Rajiv Adatiya, writing, “Why does this guy look like he ate 5 orris and then put a bottle of cheap foundation and fake tan on his face.” Adatia fired back, “I didn’t want to reply to this idiot, but think he needs a reality check!… Instead of apologizing you’re attacking me for calling you out! No, please go and take some more pictures with your minions! Grow up and start acting come of age!”
Despite repeated criticism, Ori remains a popular personality on social media, often seen at Bollywood events and parties Celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya PandeyAnd Khushi Kapoor.
