  • – Heat oil in a pan, then add urad dal, dry red chilli and asafoetida. Fry the urad dal until it turns golden brown.
  • Add chopped orange peels and mix well. After 2-3 minutes add tamarind and salt in it. stir thoroughly.
  • Cover the pan and let it cook for a few minutes.
  • When cooled, grind the mixture in a food processor with jaggery and a little water (if necessary) to make a smooth paste.
  • And that’s all – your orange peel chutney is ready to serve and enjoy!
