Introduction and Glasses
The Numeric Oppo Reno Series is here, and the theme of this review is Vanilla Reno 13, which brings some remarkable upgrades compared to its predecessor. The device comes at a slightly higher cost, though.
The interesting bit is that there is a major difference between Vanilla and Pro version this year. We have found separate camera setups, batteries, charging capabilities and even displays.

The chipset has also been given some attention and is now at a distance of 8350, used for the Reno 13 Pro. There is no change in the camera setup on the back, coming from the Reno 12 – 50MP main camera and 8MP ultravide forest. On the other hand, the selfie has received a good update as it is now 50MP with AF.
Although there is no microSD card slot this year, the new Reno13 compensates with a better ingrand protection rating (IP68/IP69) and much higher battery capacity – 5,600 mAh. Battery supports 80W fast charging on Oppo’s owner of owners standard.
But we are rarely convinced of the specs sheet, so let’s get a deep dive and see what is happening with Vanilla Reno this year.
Unbox on Oppo Reno13
Reno13 comes in a minor box that contains normal user manual with USB-A to USB-A cable for charging and data transfer.
However, the charger is not included in the box, at least in the European Union, but you can get an 80W charger and a pair of X3i TWS Yearbuds as part of an ongoing early early bird promotion.
