Oppo is going to launch Reno 13 series in India next month. The company has not yet announced an official launch date, but Oppo is now frequently teasing the new smartphone series on X (formerly Twitter). We are expecting the Reno 13 series to launch in the second week of January 2025. The Reno 13 series will likely include two smartphones: the Reno 13 and the Reno 13 Pro. Before the launch, the company has revealed the design of the smartphones.
The Reno 13 and 13 Pro are confirmed to have two vertically aligned cameras and a third on its right side. The two vertically aligned cameras are so big and prominent that your eyes don’t move to the third, and the camera setup sports a very iPhone-like design. We see two colors in the teaser. White and beautiful lavender. You can tell we’re already feeling a slight inclination toward the lavender colorway. Both variants have a pattern on the back, which looks like marble in the white model. Oppo says it has a “one piece sculpted glass” back.

The teaser confirms that the phone has an aluminum frame. Interestingly, the phone uses a nearly flat display, with a slight curve on the edges, which could potentially give you the best of both worlds – thinner bezels, less glare, and less accidental touches. In a previous post, Oppo has also confirmed that the rear panel of the Reno 13 series will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Oppo hasn’t revealed details about it yet, but the teaser lists the phone as an AI phone, like last year’s Oppo Reno 12 series. This means that we can expect some upgrades in terms of AI features in the phone. Oppo Reno 12 Pro was equipped with AI features like AI Best Face, AI Eraser 2.0 and AI Clear Face. For productivity, it offered AI Summary, AI Record Summary, AI Clear Voice, AI Writer, and AI Speak.
