Oppo has launched the new Find X9 series in India, which includes two premium phones. At first glance they look similar, but take slightly different paths when you start comparing details. It is good for both features and price. The price of Oppo Find X9 starts at Rs 74,999 and the Pro version will cost you much more than Rs 1 lakh. With a noticeable price difference between the two, buyers are naturally wondering whether the Pro variant is worth the splurge or whether the standard Find X9 does just as well. Here’s a quick comparison of both the phones, which will make your purchasing decision a little easier if you are confused about which phone might be a better deal for you.

Oppo Find X9 vs Find X9 Pro: India prices

The price of 12GB + 256GB model of Find X9 starts at Rs 74,999, while the 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at Rs 84,999. Oppo is selling it in Titanium Gray and Space Black. Meanwhile, the Find X9 Pro steps into the six-figure bracket at Rs 1,09,999 and comes in Titanium Charcoal and Silk White colours.

Now, price alone doesn’t explain the difference, so here’s how the two phones compare in real-world usage.

Oppo Find X9 vs Find X9 Pro: Design

The design language of both phones is similar – metal frame, Gorilla Glass shielding and the kind of build quality you expect from a flagship in this segment. They also share an IP68/IP69 rating. Where they differ is in size and hand feel. The Find X9 Pro adds some weight at 224 grams, but it doesn’t feel heavy; Instead, it has a slightly more planted feel in the hand.

Oppo Find X9 vs Find X9 Pro: Display

Both phones offer bright, color-rich AMOLED panels with slight differences. The Pro version uses a 6.78-inch LTPO panel, which not only looks more immersive but also adjusts its refresh rate more intelligently for battery savings. The standard Find X9 has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display and there is no LTPO support here. It’s sharp, vibrant and equally capable of hitting a peak brightness of 3600 nits, but the small footprint will appeal to those who prefer compact flagships. Both run at 120Hz, although the Pro feels slightly smoother due to the LTPO flexibility.

Oppo Find X9 vs Find X9 Pro: Chipset, battery and thermals

Under the hood, both the phones are identical. Both are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. Storage across the series is UFS 4.1, although the Pro expands memory options to 1TB with 16GB of RAM.

Cooling is where you see the difference. The Pro uses a slightly larger vapor chamber (36,344.4 sq mm), while the standard X9 comes with a 32,052.5 sq mm system. In intensive workloads, the Pro naturally has a little more breathing room, but the base model is not far behind.

Oppo has provided the same charging setup in both the phones – 80W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless. What changes is battery size. The Find X9 has a 7025mAh cell, while the Pro goes up to 7500mAh.

Oppo Find X9 vs Find X9 Pro: Camera differences

This is where the Find X9 Pro really justifies its higher price. Its main camera uses a large Sony LYT-828 sensor, paired with a 50MP ultra-wide and 200MP telephoto lens capable of strong zoom performance. The front camera is also a 50MP shooter.

The standard Find X9 also has a triple-camera setup, but all three lenses are 50MP. The sensors are one level down from the Pro model, though still tuned by Hasselblad and backed by Oppo’s new Lumo imaging engine. Front camera is 32MP Sony IMX615. The X9 can take reliable, natural-looking photos, but the X9 Pro’s hardware gives it the advantage in challenging lighting, zoom shots, and overall depth.

Oppo Find X9 vs Find X9 Pro: So which one should you buy?

If you want the best possible photography, longer battery life, and a larger display with LTPO, you should choose the Find X9 Pro. It is designed for users who push their phones hard for photography, gaming or heavy multitasking. But if you want almost the same basic performance, compact body and a price under Rs 75,000, the Find X9 is in a comfortable spot. It provides you with key features without giving you extra features. Both are high-end phones, but your choice depends on whether you value the incremental upgrades brought by the Pro or prefer to save money without sacrificing too much in daily use.
