Oppo confirmed the launch of its F31 series in India on 15 September. According to the company, the upcoming mid-range lineup is designed for users who want smartphones with reliable performance and a difficult design. Oppo is set to start its new F31 series in India on 15 September. According to the company, this lineup is designed for users who require sustainable smartphones that can withstand heat, water, dust and casual drops. In other words, users who are using their phones during their work and about their work, mostly outside the metro cities.

This is one of the reasons that the company is also putting 7000mAh battery in each of these phones, as well as a rugged design with 80W fast charging and IP69, IP68 and IP66 ratings.

According to Oppo, its upcoming series will include F31, F31 Pro and F31 Pro+, designed for traders, gig-gig-economy workers, shopkeepers and young professionals who require a phone that is performing and durable in a difficult environment.

The company has confirmed that in all models of the Oppo F31 series, it will be what it says, a 360 armor body with multi-layer shock absorption and strong IP rating. The company claims that the F31 phones will maintain smooth performance even in outer heat up to 43 ° C.

Under the hood, the top model of Oppo F31 Pro+ will be operated by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 General 3 chipset with Adreno 720 GPU. The device will support up to 24GB RAM (12GB of physical + 12GB virtual) and has UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will also have a 5219 square mm vapor room, which is larger than its predecessor according to the company, and improves heat management to offer better continuous performance during demand.

Meanwhile, F31 Pro will be powered by MediaTek Demistance 7300-Energy processor, and the same will offer up to 24GB RAM in the same physical and virtual combo and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will also have a 4363 square mm vapor room with an extended graphite sheet for better thermal control.

As F31 for base variants, it will have the facility of Dimtivity 6300 SoC added with Mali-G57 GPU. This will use 4,300 square mm vapor chamber and better graphite coverage that will improve more than 20 percent in thermal efficiency than the previous generation according to the company.

All three models of the upcoming Oppo F31 series will be sent with Coloros 15. Oppo has also stated that it will offer “72-Mahine Flow Protection 2.0” with its new devices, including storage defraudmentation and adaptive performance management to preserve system stability up to six years.

The phone is asked to be equipped with AI devices including real -time translation and AI Viocecarib, AI call assistant for live translation during calls, and Oppo docks for documentation and rewriting, helpful for restructuring or correct drafts and to convert a scan document facility into editable text.

Now, in photography, Oppo has confirmed that the top-end F31 Pro+ will come with a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 32-megapixel front camera with a secondary monochrome sensor. The F31 Pro will also bring in a similar setup, while the base F31 will include a double-megapixel portrait lens and a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a 16-megapixel front camera.

All models support 4K video recording, double -view video and underwater photography supported with IP68 ratings. The camera will use Oppo’s AI imaging engine, which has features such as AI Eraser 2.0, AI Unbalator, Reflection Remover and Advanced Portrait Retaching.

Battery and charging

For batteries, all devices will be packed with a 7000mAh battery. Oppo claims that the devices can charge 0 to 58 percent in 30 minutes and reach the full capacity in just one hour using 80W Supercoke. The F31 series will support reverse wired charging.
