Oppo recently unveiled the F29 series, including two smartphones – Oppo F29 and Oppo F29 Pro. We have received the pro model, so let’s take a close look at it.
The Oppo F29 Pro came into a white retail box, including a clear case, a SIM easeer tool, some documents, a charging cable and an 80W power adapter.
Oppo F29 Pro has packed 6.7 “10-bit FullHD+ Quad-Kire AMOLED display with 1,200 nits peak brightness and gorilla glass Victus 2 protection. The panel has a 240Hz touch sampling rate and 120Hz screen refreshing rate.
The Oppo F29 Pro also supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG codecs and comes with Widavin L1 certification, allowing 1080p video streaming in supported apps. Its screen has a punch-hole in the center for the 16MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture and Fov of 85 °. The camera can record videos up to 1080p resolution at 30 FPS.
Below the display is an optical fingerprint scanner, which is sharp and accurate. However, as optical in-display on most other phones is accompanied by fingerprint scanner, it is placed close to the lower bezel. Keeping it a higher will improve phone-unlocked experience.
Around the back, we have a spherical camera island surrounded by a shiny plate, which raises some fingerprint smoke during a short time spent with the phone.

The island house flash and two cameras – 50mp primary and 2MP monochrome. The additional circle you have seen is only for aesthetics. The 2MP monochrome unit has f/2.4 aperture and 89 ° Fov, while the 50MP primary camera has F/1.8 aperture and 76 ° Fov. It has both OIS and EIS and can record 4K videos on 30 FPS.
The Oppo F29 Pro marble comes in white and granite black colors, and it is former that we have received which is the subject of this article. The back panel of the marble white model has a matte finish, which did a good job in opposing the fingerprint smoke, and while the name is “marble” in the name, the design actually looks like the top of the snow-covered mountain peaks when the light falls on the cover on different angles.
The F29 Pro is thin and strong, and we prefer its overall construction. However, like the Oppo Reno 13 Pro, its back panel is flat, which is paired with a Quad-Cres Amoled display designed for a not-grain in-hand experience for the author of this article. Perhaps adding a little curvature to the edges would have been better.
The frame of the smartphone looks bright, but it is not shiny, meaning no smoothie. The right-side frame has a good response to the volume rocker and the power button. Below is a SIM card slot, primary mic and USB-C with a speaker grill. The top is the top IR Blaster.
Port and control
Oppo F29 Pro Demistance 7300 is powered by Energy SOC and LPDDR4X comes up to 12GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 up to 256GB of storage. It boots Android 15 with Coloros 15 at the top. The smartphone is pre-loaded with 20 third-party application and game. While you can uninstall if you want, this is still too much, and we want to reduce Oppo the number of pre-installed third-party apps on our phone.

He said, Oppo F29 Pro Up and Running Maintains 6,000 MAH Silicon-Carbon battery which has 80W wired charging support. Oppo says that the bundle adapter can increase the battery up to 45% in 20 minutes.
Another main attraction of Oppo F29 Pro includes dual stereo speakers, IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, and underwater photography. It also has MIL-STD-810H certification.

Oppo F29 Pro is available through Oppo’s official website in India. Its 8GB/128GB version is priced at INR27,999 ($ 330/€ 305), while the cost of 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB models is the INR29,999 ($ 350/€ 325) and INR31,999 ($ 375/€ 345) respectively.
