Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand crowned Miss World 2025
Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangasri has won the Miss World 2025 title. Nandini Gupta represented India and made it in the top 20.
Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand has won the 72nd Miss World title. She was crowned by Miss World 2024 Christina Pyszkova at a ceremony held at Hitex Exhibition Center in Hyderabad on 31 May.
While Ethiopia’s Haset Dereje emerged as the first runner-up, Poland’s Maj Klajda won the second runner-up title. Martinic’s Aurli Jochim made in the top four.

Growing up in Phuket -Growing Opal Suchta Chuangsri is an international relationship student and a model. He is a strong lawyer for breast cancer awareness. At the age of 16, he discovered a lump in his breast, which Soumya inspired him to raise awareness about breast cancer and early detection in Thailand.

Opal also represented Thailand at the International Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico City, finishing as the third runner-up. However, her third runner-up status was later canceled after her 12-month Miss Universe Thailand’s reign was accepted after accepting the title of Miss World Thailand 2025.
This year, 108 contestants from all over the world participated in the prestigious beauty contest. India was represented by model Nandini Gupta. She made it in the top 20 in the run for the Miss World 2025 title.
The 72nd Miss World Finale was hosted by Stephanie Del Valle (Miss World 2016), who was dressed in a traditional Indian Lehenga for the event with the Sure Kumbar. The grand program also saw a performance by Jacqueline Fernandez and Ishaan Khat.
The judging panel for the 72nd Miss World Pageant included actor Sonu Sood, who also received the Miss World Humanitarian Award. Sudha Reddy, also served as a judge, also as a judge, 2025 for beauty with a purpose. Dr. Carina Tarlel, Miss England 2014 and a public health doctor at Cambridge University were also on the panel. Miss World 2024 Christina Pyszkova also participated in choosing her successor. The jury was led by Miss World President Julia Morley CBE.
Former Miss World Manushi Chillar, actors Rana Daggubati and Namrata Shirodkar were also present at the event. Telangana CM Revanath Reddy was also at the event. Actor and politician Chiranjeevi also attended the Finale event of Miss World 2025.
This is the second consecutive year that India hosts for the Miss World Pagent. The 71st edition of the pageant was held in Mumbai, where Christina Pajkova of the Czech Republic was crowned Miss World.
