The company recently confirmed that it is indeed planning to launch the OnePlus Turbo series soon, at least in China. Now, a new report has reportedly revealed the look of the first Turbo device and what it might pack. However, for us in India, this phone may be rebranded as a OnePlus Nord device. According to Android Headlines, the new OnePlus Turbo device is internally codenamed “Prado”. The report also reveals the possible design of this device. The images reveal a dual rear camera setup with a square-ish module, which looks similar to the OnePlus 15. The back has a glossy finish, while the frame is flat.
Expected Specifications of OnePlus Turbo
According to the report, the OnePlus Turbo device will likely have a 9,000mAh battery, which is in line with previous reports. It is expected that the phone will come with 80W fast charging support.
The OnePlus Turbo could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, hinting that it could be a budget-friendly device targeted at heavy users who want long battery life. The display is expected to be a 6.8-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The refresh rate is lower than the OnePlus 15 and 15R, possibly to save cost.
On the camera front, the OnePlus Turbo is seen sporting a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel main and an 8-megapixel ultrawide. The device will likely launch with Oxygen OS 16 based on Android 16.

OnePlus has confirmed that the Turbo series will launch in China, but there is no official word on an India release. Now, reports indicate that the device could be launched in India as the next Nord CE phone, potentially the OnePlus Nord CE 6. The handset is expected to come in two colors – blue and black. Blue is the halo color of the Nord series.
Expected price of OnePlus Turbo
For India, the phone is likely to be launched in the budget segment, in line with the Nord CE series strategy. According to the leak, this OnePlus phone is said to be launched in India in March 2026 after its launch in China in early January 2026.
There is no official statement yet on the price of this device. For reference, the OnePlus Nord 5 CE was launched in India for Rs 24,999. But considering the increase in the prices of OnePlus 15 and 15R in India, this phone may come with a price increase.
