Tipster @Rodent950 has claimed on X that the OnePlus Open 2 could launch in the first quarter of 2025. This timeline aligns with the expected launch of the Oppo Find N5, the Chinese version of OnePlus’ foldable lineup. The original Oppo Find N3 was launched globally as a OnePlus Open and was well received for its design and performance. So, now that the Oppo Find N5 is arriving, the OnePlus Open 2 is also likely to arrive. If the timeline holds true, we could see the Find N5 and OnePlus Open 2 launch together in early 2025.

OnePlus Open 2: Camera system update

Interestingly, the leaker has also shared details about possible changes to the camera system. Oppo reportedly tested the Find X8 Ultra’s quad-camera setup on the Find N5, but ultimately decided to retain the existing triple-camera configuration.
