The 7,000mAh battery is already jumping on the bandwagan with phone companies like Vivo and Eku, it seems that it is going to turn a OnePlus. The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE5 has allegedly seen in a new leak, and the larger highlight is its huge 7,100mAh battery. It is about 30 percent larger than the 5,500mAh battery found in its predecessor, Nord CE 4. And to improve things, it can also support 80W fast charging. If this leak becomes accurate, the Nord CE5 can easily become one of the longest running phones in its price range-and a serious contenders for the crown of mid-range in 2025.

The leak comes courtesy of Tipster’s Debayan Roy and take it on X (East Twitter), who posted some of the major specifications of the upcoming phone. The biggest attraction of the phone is a large battery of 7,100mAh. Of course, one can argue that a large battery can translate into a heavy design. But, OnePlus can use silicon-carbon battery technology to offer a slimmer and light phone to users, just as what happened with IQO Z10.

With a large battery of 7,100mAh, OnePlus Nord CE 5 is called a 6.7 -inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Demistance 8350 chipset, which also powers the phone such as Oppo Reno 13 Pro and the recently launched Realm P3 Ultra. In terms of software, Oxygen 15 is expected to look at Android 15.

For construction, OnePlus Nord CE5 may have a polycarbonate back and a slightly curved rear for frame, flat side, and better grip – much as we have seen with Nord CE4. It has also been tipped to include a hybrid SIM slot and a single speaker, which may expect some users to setup a stereo. On the back, OnePlus Nord CE5 may have a dual-camera setup-a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

When it comes to the price, it is rumored to launch OnePlus Nord CE5 in India for less than Rs 25,000. To remember, OnePlus Nord CE4 was launched in India at an initial price of Rs 24,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option, while the top-level 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option was priced at Rs 26,999.
