OnePlus Nord 6 may launch soon, here is its expected India price and specs
The OnePlus Nord 6 phone may launch soon as the company is preparing to announce a new Turbo series in China, and the next-generation Nord phone has received global certification. here are the details.

OnePlus looks to be off to a busy start to 2026. The company has already confirmed that it will announce its new Turbo 6-series smartphones in China on January 8, and while the announcement is officially limited to China, the development is being closely followed in India as well. If past launches are anything to go by, the OnePlus Turbo 6 could be arriving here as the OnePlus Nord 6, which will be the brand’s next big push in the upper mid-range segment. Since OnePlus has launched its flagship models a little earlier this time, the same is expected to happen with the Nord series. Nord 5 arrived in July and its successor is expected in the next few months. Here are the expected specifications and India price of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 6 smartphone.
OnePlus Nord 6 may launch soon: Specifications (expected/leaked)
Since the Turbo 6 series is expected to arrive as the Nord series globally, let’s take a look at its features and specifications. The new Turbo series is said to consist of two models, namely the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V. Of the two, the Turbo 6 is expected to be the more powerful device, and that’s where the excitement is the most. It is confirmed to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This is the same chipset that has already shown strong performance on phones like iQOO Neo 10, Nothing Phone (3) and POCO F7. If OnePlus brings this exact hardware to India under the Nord 6 name, it will be a notable jump over the Nord 5 in day-to-day speed as well as gaming performance.
The processor is also expected to handle high-refresh-rate displays comfortably. OnePlus has confirmed a 1.5K resolution panel with a 165Hz screen for the Turbo 6. This refresh rate was previously seen on the OnePlus 15 and 15R, and its arrival in the Nord lineup will clearly indicate a stronger focus on gamers and power users.
Battery capacity is another area where the Turbo 6 stands out. OnePlus has confirmed a massive 9,000mAh battery, which if brought to the Indian variant, could make it the largest battery ever in a smartphone sold in the country. The phone will support 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging.
In terms of design, the Turbo 6 takes clear inspiration from the OnePlus 15 series. The official images show a circular-shaped camera module with flat edges and a punch-hole display on the front. While the frame is said to be plastic rather than aluminum, OnePlus is not skimping on safety. The phone is confirmed to have IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, offering resistance against dust, water and even high-pressure water jets.
The camera hardware of the Turbo 6 includes a dual rear setup with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, users can expect a 32MP selfie camera. The device will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security.
Along with the Turbo 6, OnePlus will also launch the Turbo 6V, which is rumored to launch in India as the Nord CE 6. This model will use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which is yet to be launched in India. It is expected to feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Both the phones are said to come with matte frames and color-matched edges. The Turbo 6 will be offered in black, silver and turquoise, while the Turbo 6V will be limited to black and silver, with the silver version featuring a subtle line pattern.
OnePlus Nord 6: Expected India price
Price remains the biggest question. The OnePlus Nord 5 was launched at Rs 31,999, while the price of the Nord 4 started at Rs 29,999, which marks an increase of Rs 2,000. Looking at this trend, the Nord 6 is also expected to see a slight rise, but it is likely to remain below Rs 35,000. OnePlus already has the OnePlus 13R priced at around Rs 40,000, which leaves enough room for the Nord 6 to sit comfortably below it.
There’s no official confirmation yet on the India launch timeline, but the phone has already cleared global certifications, which suggests its launch might not be too far away.
