OnePlus Nord 4 is all set to launch in India and other global markets on July 16. Ahead of the launch event, the company has confirmed the design details of the next Nord phone. Now, it has announced two major updates coming to the OnePlus Nord 4. Here’s everything to know about it.

The company has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 4 will come with four years of Android updates and six years of security updates, which is the longest support package ever offered by OnePlus to its users. The brand also claims that this is the first phone that is “certified to stay fast and smooth for six years.”

“We’re proud that OnePlus users continue to get the best from their phones long after they purchase them, and this new software support package means the OnePlus Nord 4 will continue to give our users a great experience for longer than ever before,” said Kinder Liu, President and COO, OnePlus.

The OnePlus Nord 4 is also confirmed to feature OnePlus’ Battery Health Engine technology, which the company claims will “ensure it stays charged effectively for years.” The device is certified for 1,600 full charging cycles.

Designed by OnePlus, the technology uses AI to analyze your battery usage and charging habits. It then optimizes everything from the amount of power your phone uses to the time it takes to reach 100 percent power, the company said.

OnePlus has confirmed that its new Nord 4 smartphone will come with a metal unibody design and the teaser has revealed that the leaked images showing its design are accurate. It will come in a dual-tone finish. There will be a grey model with a diagonal line pattern on the back with a gradient finish. The rest of the details are kept under wraps for now.

The leak claims that the OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to feature a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging, and more. On the back, we can see a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor.
