The OnePlus Nord 4 is finally coming. While the company hasn’t confirmed the launch event yet, reliable tipster Yogesh Brar has confirmed on X that the mid-range is set to launch on July 16. Its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord 3, was launched in July last year. So, now is the time for the new version to arrive.

The tipster claims that the OnePlus Nord 4 is not the only device that will be announced in the third week of July. The company is also going to introduce the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro wireless earphones and the OnePlus Watch 2R smartwatch. Details for this are kept under wraps for now.

It is worth noting that the brand recently launched its Nord CE 4 Lite version for under Rs 20,000 and Nord CE 4 for under Rs 30,000. Hence, the launch of the original OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone is not surprising as it is the only series left for the company to upgrade its Nord range this year. The Nord 4 will likely be priced under Rs 35,000 as OnePlus is selling its OnePlus 12R smartphone at a starting price of Rs 39,999.

To recall, the OnePlus Nord 3 was announced in India with a starting price of Rs 33,999. If the brand increases the base price beyond Rs 35,000, it will be difficult for the company to sell Nord devices over the better 12R smartphones. The original OnePlus Nord is aimed at users who are willing to pay a few thousand rupees more for a better experience and features than other Nord phones (under Rs 35,000). It will be interesting to see if the upcoming OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone will be able to justify the price and convince users to buy it, given that the segment already includes some good options. These include the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, Poco F6, and more. The tipster claims that the new Nord 4 smartphone will go on sale during the Amazon Prime Day sale, which will start on July 20.

The leak has revealed that the OnePlus Nord 4 could be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 3V device. The Chinese model features a 6.74 OLED flat display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1,100nits HBM, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It comes with an IP65 rating to avoid dust and splashes. The OnePlus Ace 3V is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The new OnePlus phone runs on Android 14 OS.
