The OnePlus 13 is now listed on Amazon, although not much has been revealed about when the device will be released. Apart from confirming its availability, the e-commerce website confirms that the flagship is coming soon and will offer a number of AI features. These include AI Unblur, AI Notes, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Detail Boost, and more. These are all part of OxygenOS 15, which OnePlus has started rolling out to some phones and will also come with the OnePlus 13.
As of now, the India launch date of OnePlus 13 is still a secret and the company is expected to reveal it soon. In the meantime, here’s a look at the full specs and features of the upcoming OnePlus phone.
OnePlus 13: specs, features
The OnePlus 13, launched in China, comes with a 6.82-inch display, maintaining the same size as its predecessor, the OnePlus 12. The screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution, ensuring seamless viewing. It retains high brightness capabilities, reaching 1,600 nits in regular mode and an impressive 4,500 nits of peak brightness. In particular, two new features enhance the user experience: glove-friendly usability and a dynamic native high refresh rate.
The glove compatibility feature is especially beneficial for users in cold climates like Delhi during winter, allowing them to operate the device without removing their gloves. Local high refresh rate technology dynamically adjusts the screen’s refresh rate based on activity. For example, when watching a video, the refresh rate may be lower, while activities like scrolling through comments may trigger a higher rate of 60Hz, 90Hz, or 120Hz for a better experience. At the heart of the OnePlus 13 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
A significant upgrade on the OnePlus 13 is its battery capacity, which has been increased to 6,000mAh from the OnePlus 12’s 5,400mAh. OnePlus claims that this big battery can last for about two days of usage on a single charge. The device supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, and magnetic wireless charging has been introduced this year via compatible cases.
On the camera front, the OnePlus 13 continues with the 50-megapixel LYT-808 primary sensor from its predecessor, but its telephoto and ultrawide lenses have seen upgrades, both of which now feature 50-megapixel sensors. The camera system, which bears Hasselblad branding, also supports 4K/60fps Dolby Vision video recording for better video quality.
The OnePlus 13 has an IP68 and IP69 rating, which means it is water resistant and able to withstand high-pressure water jets. Additional features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which provides more reliable unlocking even with wet hands, and a new advanced vibration motor designed to enhance the gaming experience.
