Earlier this year, OnePlus made it clear that there was no plan to launch a foldable phone in 2025. While many people hoped that the company introduced OPO as N5 to find N5 globally, OnePlus officially stated that it had decided not to release a foldable this year and was re -evaluating its approach to foldables. In a recent community post, OnePlus confirmed that OnePlus Open 2 would not be launched in 2025. The company said, “In OnePlus, our main power and passion lies in setting new benchmarks and challenging the status quo in all product categories, we carefully and our next steps are not considered to be diverted.”

However, the recent leak shows that OnePlus has not yet been fully done with foldables.

Iconic leaks Max jambore Posted recently X (East Twitter) With just two words: “OnePlus Pagani,” after an open hand emoji. In another tweet, Zambore clarified that Pagani is not a special version tool, but a codename for an upcoming OnePlus product.

OnePlus’s decision to leave the successor of OnePlus Open this year has confused many foldable enthusiasts. Oppo finds the N5, which many are expected to re-form the OnePlus Open 2, the characteristic of an ultra-thunder form factor, one of the best foldables on the market.

OnePlus reported that since its original company, Oppo, is ready to release a new foldable, it will put back its own foldable for another year. Oppo Find N5, which was released globally in February, includes top level hardware, including Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset and 5,600mAh battery. Despite these progresses, Oppo does not bring Find N Series in India, making Indian fans a long time waiting for premium foldable experience.

OnePlus said, “While it can come as a surprise, we believe that this is the right approach to us at this time.

As of now, there is no concrete information about OnePlus Pagani, including its design or launch timeline. Given that OnePlus has rejected foldables for 2025, 2026 release is more likely.
