Vivo recently announced a mini smartphone under its Vivo X200 series in China and now, OnePlus is also rumored to launch a mini variant. Although it is currently unknown whether it will come to the Indian market or not, the company may introduce a Mini variant in its upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 series.
It will first arrive in China and then reach global markets like India as the OnePlus 13R, as happens with every Ace series. Now, details about the OnePlus Ace 5 Mini have surfaced online, revealing its key specifications.
It is said to be a compact phone from OnePlus, which explains why it would name it Mini. According to tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the device features a 6.3-inch flat screen with 1.5K resolution. The tipster suggests that this model will have a horizontal camera setup on the back, which will include a 50-megapixel IMX906 sensor. It is strongly said to skip the periscope lens that is found on high-end flagship models. But, OnePlus is reportedly choosing to use the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for this mini version. It is reported to have a short-focus fingerprint sensor.

Short-focus fingerprint sensor refers to a fingerprint scanning technology that uses a short distance between the fingerprint and the sensor to capture the image.
