OnePlus 15 Leakes revealed the key camera upgrade in the work, phone set to get Big Redigation
OnePlus is allegedly looking at its camera experience with a new in-house camera engine with the upcoming OnePlus 15. If true, it can give photography a big boost on the next OnePlus flagship.

OnePlus, known for its performance-oriented flagship, is looking at the photography on its smartphone to give a big shot in hand with the upcoming OnePlus 15. OnePlus 13 sequel is asked to bag the new technology that can not only give an upgrade to its camera system on paper, but in real-wisdom, so it can compete better with apples and Samsung in premium smartphones.
According to SmartPrics, OnePlus is developing an in-house image engine. This proprietary platform will give the phone manufacturer more control over image and video processing on your phone. It is ready to start with OnePlus 15. The Chinese phone will leave the manufacturer number 14 and release 15 series just after the OnePlus 13 series.
According to the report, the in-house engine will be more than a marketing gimmick. Instead, OnePlus users may expect to look at some significant reforms when talking about low-light photography, skin tone accuracy and dynamic range.
It is claimed that the development of this engine was part of the multi-year-old research and development roadmap of OnePlus to improve its cameras.
OnePlus recently renewed its partnership with the Legacy camera maker Hassellad. The company brought the Husselbalad branding with the first OnePlus 9 series. The camera icon helped the phone with better color tuning and some special filters. New technology is expected to manufacture it and add more values.
OnePlus 15 leaks: What do we know here
There is a large expected change design with OnePlus 15. According to Tipster Sudhanshu Ambor, the phone manufacturer is digging a circular camera module on his major phone this time.
Instead, OnePlus 15 is expected to align a square module on the left side. The render also shows no Hasalblad branding.

The phone is expected to be operated by Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. OnePlus will probably use a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate for its head. The handset will start with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The top-end variant will come with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It is also expected to obtain IP68/69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
OnePlus is reported to announce OnePlus 15 for China at the end of this year. While the global release is expected to be in early 2026.
