OnePlus 13T is officially launched to launch in China, which offers flagship-grade performance in a compact body. What is expected here.
Listen to the story

After months anticipation of OnePlus 13T and OnePlus 13 mini, OnePlus finally confirmed that it is OnePlus 13T which is coming. The company has teased its launch in China, suggesting a new flagship smartphone at the end of this month. While OnePlus has not officially disclosed all the details, leaks and teasers are buzzing all around, hoping what to expect.
OnePlus 13T is expected to have a relatively compact flagship with some powerful hardware in a mid-range premium price segment. The purpose of this phone is a powerful yet aimed at the purpose of users in search of a pocket-friendly device-similar to the iPhone 16E, which Apple introduced by Apple as a comparatively inexpensive brother of its premium flagship.
So, what can we expect from OnePlus 13t, and why is it discussing so much? Let’s break it.
OnePlus 13t rumor design and performance
OnePlus has been teasing 13T as a “Big Devil, Small Screen” (teaser translation) device in China-a mark on the flagship-grade performance packed in a small form factor. Unlike the large flagship cybbing OnePlus 13 with its 6.82-inch performance, 13T is expected to facilitate a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. If it hits the market, it will definitely appeal to those who prefer small phones without compromising on display quality.
Leaked images that broadcast online also show that OnePlus 13T can feature a premium glass back, metal frame and flat edges-like a recent iPhone and top-top Android devices. It is also a rumor of only 185G weight, making it much lighter than the OnePlus 13 (210G). This is particularly impressive, the phone is expected to pack a large battery – sooner more on it.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Performance
OnePlus 13T is rumored to take the performance seriously. This is expected to be the first compact phone operated by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset – used in the Flagship OnePlus 13. The device was also recently seen on an Antutu benchmark listing (model PKX110), which broke as a large scale: as broke: as broken as:
- CPU: 678,498
- GPU: 1,268,838
- Memory: 569,999
- UX: 489,578
These scores suggest that the phone should handle power-lustful apps such as gaming, multitasking and AI works. It is also rumored to come up with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage – so no compromise is made on memory.
Camera rumored a double 50-megapixel setup
Unlike the triple or quad-camera setup seen on most flagships, OnePlus 13T is said to facilitate a dual camera system:
- 50-megapixel main sensor (with OIS)
- 50-megapixel telephoto lens (2x optical zoom)
Although this setup must provide excellent day light and portrait shots, rumors suggest the absence of an ultra-wide lens-which may disappoint some users. Details about the front camera are still wrapped, but a hole-pan-pan-a-selfie camera is expected.
Battery larger than OnePlus 13?
Now, there is a big surprise here – OnePlus 13T is rumored to provide a 6,200mAh battery facility, which will be larger than the 6,000mAh cell of OnePlus 13. It is impressive for a phone that is likely to be compact. However, this may not be new. This can be similar to Apple’s iPhone 16E, where more affordable version surprisingly provides better battery life- due to the new C1 chipset.
Charging? OnePlus 13T is expected to support 80W wired fast charging, but wireless charging may disappear-a trade-closing for its compact design.
Software: Android 15 and Kalros 15 (China)
OnePlus 13T is expected to be launched out of Android 15 box. In China, it will run Coloros 15, while the global version released will come with oxygen.
More to expect
Rumors also indicate the replacement of the iconic alert slider of the OnePlus with a new “magic cube” button. This button is called a programmable – like the action button of the iPhone 15 Pro – users are allowed to adapt it for quick access to features such as cameras, torches or shortcuts.
OnePlus 13t Price and Availability
Let’s be clear. Everything is still rumored, and nothing has been officially confirmed by OnePlus yet. So take all the above details with a pinch of salt. However, given its compact flagship positioning, pricing is expected to be slightly lower than OnePlus 13. Based on the previous T series model, we can expect OnePlus 13T in China – between 4,000 – 4,500 (about 47,000 rupees – 53,000 rupees).
The phone has been confirmed in China at the end of April, but there is no official word on global release yet. While OnePlus 13t looks like a phone we would like to see in India, there is a chance that it can be China-infinite-as we have seen with the previous “T” model. He said, other compact flagships such as Samsung Galaxy Edge on 25 horizons and iPhone 16E already in the mixture, OnePlus can simply bring this compact powerhouse to more markets to ride a buzz and provide a promising option to users.
