The OnePlus 13 is coming to China next month, but the official date is still unknown. Global launch information is also not available as the company has just revealed that the launch in China will take place in October. Leaks suggest that the OnePlus 13 could arrive early next year, which remains to be seen. Ahead of the possible release, the alleged OnePlus phone has been spotted on the Geekbench platform. Here are the details.
As per the Geekbench listing, the OnePlus 13 achieved a single-core score of 3,216 and a multi-core score of 10,051. In comparison, Qualcomm’s own reference design (QRD) device with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 posted a lower single-core score of 2884 and a multi-core score of 8840. Even Apple’s A18 Pro, which scored 3409 in single-core performance, lagged behind in multi-core with a score of 8492. This shows that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 can deliver better multi-core performance than Apple’s latest chip.
The listing also confirms that the OnePlus 13 will run on Android 15 and come with 16GB of RAM. Previous rumours have also suggested that the OnePlus 13 will be equipped with a large 6000mAh battery, something we’re used to seeing in mid-range Samsung phones.
With these benchmarks, the OnePlus 13 is set to challenge other flagship smartphones in the market. The official launch is eagerly awaited to see how the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered device performs in real-world conditions.
OnePlus 13: Leaked Specifications
The OnePlus 13 is rumoured to feature a 6.8-inch micro-curved display with 2K resolution and LTPO technology. This ensures better battery efficiency similar to the OnePlus 12, with only minor changes to the overall display. Design leaks have been inconsistent, with some reports suggesting major changes and others predicting minimal updates. However, it is likely that the OnePlus 13 will retain the circular camera module seen on the OnePlus 12.
The device is expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which will likely offer better performance than the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. According to rumors, the biggest upgrade will be in the camera department.
The OnePlus 13 is expected to feature a multi-focal camera system with a periscope telephoto lens for better zoom capabilities. The triple-camera setup could include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens.
