The Chinese variant of the phone is seen in the video, as it runs on ColorOS. But what about the Indian version? Indian audiences might be grappling with questions about the upcoming flagship device. Rumors of OnePlus 13 expectations in India started spreading long before the launch was confirmed. And there is a high possibility that both the variants will look similar.

As per the images teased by the company, the OnePlus 13 features a stylish design, with a micro-quad-curved display on the front and a sleek circular camera module on the back. Unlike its predecessors, the camera module is no longer integrated with the frame of the device. It has three lenses and an LED flash, arranged in a square structure within a circular island, which is made up of a metal ring that enhances the look and draws attention to the camera area.

With the launch of OnePlus 13 in China getting closer, Indian fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival. Although no official date has been announced, rumors suggest a January 2025 release in India. This is in line with OnePlus’ recent pattern; For example, OnePlus 12 is scheduled to launch in China in December 2023 and reach the Indian market by January 2024. Although the OnePlus 13 is launching slightly earlier than its predecessor, it is unlikely to reach India this year.

A key factor in this timing is that only 10 months have passed since the last flagship launch, which is in line with the company’s usual annual release cycle.

A recent leak on Chinese social media platform Weibo suggests that the OnePlus 13 will launch at a price of CNY 5,299 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model, which marks a CNY 500 increase from its predecessor. The same variant of OnePlus 12 is priced at CNY 4,799. Although no leaks regarding the India variant of the OnePlus 13 have surfaced yet, a similar percentage increase could take the price of the upcoming device to around Rs 77,000, compared to the OnePlus 12’s launch price of Rs 69,999.
