The OnePlus 13 is set to launch in China this October, but ahead of its official debut, renders of the smartphone have been leaked online. Real photos of the device have surfaced on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter (now X), giving us a glimpse of its design. The phone is expected to come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8th Gen Elite processor, which will offer top-tier performance. Apart from this powerhouse chipset, it is also rumored to have an impressive camera setup, making it a strong contender in the flagship market. The leak has created a lot of excitement ahead of the official reveal.
According to images leaked by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OnePlus 13 has undergone a subtle but notable change in its design. The camera setup no longer blends into the frame of the phone, as it did in previous models. Instead, it is now shaped like a standalone circle located on the back left of the phone. Another change is the relocation of the Hasselblad logo, which is no longer part of the camera island. It is moved over a thin decorative metal strip on the right side of the camera. This change gives the phone a cleaner, more minimalist look.
Expected specifications of OnePlus 13
The OnePlus 13 will have significant upgrades over the OnePlus 12. One of the most talked about features of the OnePlus 13 is its processor. It is rumored to be one of the first smartphones to launch with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is expected to be officially unveiled during Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit on October 22. Previously known as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is set to bring major improvements in performance and power efficiency, thanks to its new Orion core.
This new chip is designed to make the OnePlus 13 faster, smoother, and more power-efficient, perfect for users who rely on their phones for heavy multitasking, gaming, and other high-performance tasks. OnePlus can also beat its competitors like Xiaomi and Oppo by becoming the first to release a phone powered by this chipset.
OnePlus is known for pushing the boundaries when it comes to battery life and charging speeds, and the OnePlus 13 will likely continue that trend. Rumors suggest that the device will be equipped with a massive 6,000mAh battery – a huge improvement over the 5,400mAh battery found in previous OnePlus models. This may mean longer usage times for users who are always on the go.
In terms of charging, the OnePlus 13 is expected to support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring that your phone powers up quickly and efficiently. Whether you’re using a cable or a wireless charger, you won’t have to wait long to get back to using your device.
